Civil War Member, Co I, 1st Vermont Volunteers, died of disease at Fortress Monroe VA.
Additional info from BarreNative; "Henry Bennett, standard bearer of the Vermont colors in the First Regiment had died in the Hospital at Fortress Monroe of typhoid fever."
