A. L. BUCKLEY DIED TUESDAY
Another good citizen, Mr. A. L. Buckley of Goss, expired early Tuesday morning after a short illness lasting only a day or two. In an effort to break up chills, his system became over charged with strong medicines, at a time when he was weak constitutionally. Hemorrhages set in Monday night and the best medical skill could not stay death's hand. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. D. Cox, at Society Hill Wednesday at 11 o'clock, a large concourse gathering to pay homage to a respected citizen. Besides the wife, seven sons, three daughters and six grandchildren are bereft of his presence. 66 years was his allotted time, which was actively spent in the occupation of a farmer.
