L.D. Hamilton, 54, Is Victim of Pneumonia.
L.D. Hamilton 54, carpenter, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the home of a sister, Mrs. Allie Florence Green, 1146 South Case street. Death was due to pneumonia.
Mr. Hamilton was born August 4, 1882, in Jackson county, Alabama. he formerly lived in Webb City, coming to Carthage from there four years ago. He had lived in this district about 25 years. He is survived by a brother, Robert Hamilton of Webb City, and the sister, Mrs. Green, of Carthage.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Knell service home. The Rev. Lou Love of Galena will be in charge.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
Was married to Jannette Turner.
