The funeral will be held at Geneseo. N. Y., Sunday, August 25th, at 5 p. m. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited.

PAST AWAY

Mrs. Nancy B. Whitney, relict of George S. Whitney, deceased, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm.
Arkison, in Buffalo, N. Y., Friday night last, after a lingering illness, at the age of 71 years. Mrs. Whitney had been in feeble health for upwards of a year from the time her husband died in February, 1900, being afflicted with heart disease and dropsy. Mrs. Whitney was a kindhearted lady, highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She had lived in Geneseo for many years prior to the death of her husband, since which time she has been residing with her daughter in Buffalo. Mrs. Whitney was a great home body, devoted to her children, and a lady who always had a kind word and a pleasant greeting for all. She leaves as immediate relatives to mourn her demise, one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Arkison of Buffalo, end two sons, Ira and Arthur of this village. The remains were brought to this village Saturday evening last, and the funeral services held from the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Whitney, Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
