NORWOOD, KATHERINE BALL - age 67, of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at Blount Memorial Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Onita Pardue Ball, and husband, Eldon Norwood. Mrs. Norwood was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater. She was a C.N.A. with the late Lowry-Henshaw Hospital & Clinic in Sweetwater after 36 years, also the Sweetwater Valley Convalescent Home for the past 13 years. Survivors include son, William L. "Bill" Snyder of Knoxville; daughter, Christy Cozart of Sweetwater; granddaughter, Mariah Cozart of Sweetwater; grandson, Will Moloy of Knoxville; brother, Howard Stockton of Sweetwater, and several nieces and nephews. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Don Edwards and Rev. Anderson McCulley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park for an 11 a.m. interment. www.legacy.com
