Shawn R. Woodard 30, of Frankfort, died at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at his home.
He was born May 9, 1979 in Frankfort, Indiana to Steve E. & Paula (Mang) Woodard.
Mr. Woodard was a 1998 graduate of Frankfort High School. He formerly worked at General Seating and Forest Products. A three year veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is survived by his parents, Steve E. & Paula Woodard of Frankfort; one sister, Shannon (Brad) Compton of Frankfort; Maternal Grandfather, Bill Mang of Frankfort; Paternal Grandmother, Barbara (Bill) Rich of Frankfort; and two nephews, Kaleb & Braden Compton.
Services are Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
