SOUTH BEND - Corajane Nancy Bennett, 82, formerly of South Bend, peacefully passed away at 3:57 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11. She had been residing at St. John's Senior Community in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Surviving is one son, Greg Bennett (Janine Andrysiak), of Granger. As Corajane Nevins, she married Delbert Bennett, who preceded her in death in 1980. They had been married for 34 years. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Maud Nevins, and a brother, James Nevins. Corajane graduated from Adams High School in 1945. She was employed at the former Bendix Corporation and then was a scheduler for the production of patterns at Simplicity Pattern Company in Niles, MI, for twenty-five years. She was a past president of American Businesswomen's Association of South Bend, a member of the Rainbow Girls of the Masons, and a former 4-H Leader for Berrien County, MI. Corajane enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, playing bridge, and traveling.
