MRS. L.C. DARST
IS DEAD AT EUREKA
Eureka, Feb. 16. -(Special)- Mrs. L.C. Darst passed away at her home in this city at an early hour this morning.
Her maiden name was Susan A. Ross, and she was born in Kentucky on Sept. 29, 1836. When she was 2 years of age the family moved to Jacksonvill, Ill., and later to Twin Grove.
She was married to Mr. Darst on April 7, 1868, and since that time her home has been in Eureka. Four children were born to this union, but only one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Ross Britt of Armington, survives.
The other children were E.A. Darst, who passed away only a few years ago, Adella Florence and Loren Lee.
Besides the husband and daughter she leaves two brothers, John Ross of California and Ed Ross of Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Delia Kinne of St. Paul, Minn.
The funeral services will be held at the family home at 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
