OBITUARY: "Kitchener Record" May 7, 1945.


"The death of 86-year-old Jacob E. Seibert, 31 Albert St. S., occurred early yesterday morning at his late residence. Deceased, born January 4, 1859, in Bridgeport, was the last surviving member of the Jacob Seibert family of nine children. He was a member of Trinity United Church.

Surviving are his wife, (nee Rachel Ogram); three sons: Robert of Detroit, Mich., George of Harriston and Milner of Kitchener; four daughters: Mrs. William (Blanche) Murray of Toronto, Mrs. Frank (Edith) English of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Herbert (Murial) Allsopp, Barrie, and Miss Emily Seibert, Kitchener. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. E.O. Seymour, pastor, officiating. Remains are resting at the funeral home."
