SARAH ANN TRIBE DEAD

Town of Peterson Named For Parents of Ogden Woman

Sarha Ann Tribe, 81, second Mormon pioneer child born in Weber valley, died at nine-forty

p.m. Monday at the family home, 584 Twenty-fourth. She was the widow of the late David W. Tribe.

Mrs. Tribe was born February 23, 1856, daughter of Charles Shreeve Peterson and Ann Patton Peterson. The family settled in Weber valley in 1854, the first white people to locate there

CHURCH WORKER
Mrs. Tribe was a faithful worker in the L.D.S. church. She was married on Christmas day, 1871.

Seven children, all of Ogden, survive. They are William D. Tribe, Charles J. Tribe, Roy L. Tribe, Mrs. Theresa Heiner, Mrs. Lucy Clarke, Mrs. Belva Cave and Harold L. Tribe.

NAMED FOR PARENTS
Peterson, Utah, formerly Weber City, was named in honor of Mrs. Tribe's parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at two p.m. Thursday at the sixth L.D.S. ward chapel.

The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Clarke, a daughter, Wednesday afternoon where it will remain until the funeral hour. Services are in charge of Lindquist and Sons mortuary.

SARAH ANN TRIBE
Services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Tribe, widow of David W. Tribe, will be held Thursday at two p.m. in the L.D.S. Sixth ward, Twenty-third and Madison.

Friends may call at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Clark, 2341 Jefferson, this afternoon and evening and Thursday until time of service. Interment will be in Ogden city cemetery under direction of Lindquist & Sons.
