Julia L Beistline

Services for Julia L. Beistline, 90, of 120 Filbert St., Mechanicsburg, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, 444 Silver Spring Road, Mechanicsburg.

She died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996 in Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

Born March 27, 1906 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Jones Kreitzer and the widow of George J. Beistline.

She was a member of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg and a member of Mechanicsburg Senior Adult Center.

Surviving are her daughter, Betty J. Sacoman of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn E.

The Rev. Dr. Roger S. Shoup will officiate at Thursday's service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions can be made to her church or the American Cancer Society, Cumberland County Unit, 117 N. Hanover St., Carlisle 17013.
