Obituary
Francis Gertrude Alexander was born on the home farm near Lenox Jan 30, 1879. Her life was spent in this locality except for about one and a half years spent in South Dakota. She was married Oct 28, 1896 to E.C. Higgins. To this union one child was born who died in infancy. She has been a faithful member of the Church of Christ for eighteen years. She was also a member of the Yeoman and Homestead fraternities. She has been in poor health for several years and was finally called home Jan 25, 1921 at the age of 41 years, 11 months and 25 days.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, mother and two nephews, Lavern and Harold Roll who have made their home with her for many years.

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ Lenox, Jan 28, at 2:00 pm, conducted by Rev F.C. McCallum.
