He was born March 3, 1983, in Macomb, to Jack T. and Margaret S. (McKee) Harn.
He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy McKee of Macomb; two uncles, Graig (Ronda) McKee of Macomb and Bill (Sandy) McKee of Fairbanks, Alaska; several cousins; and his girlfriend, Heather Hoehn of Farmington, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John McKee; paternal grandparents, Jack and Geneviene Harn; and his uncle, Larry Harn.
Jackson graduated from Macomb Junior Senior High School in 2001. He was currently enrolled at Lincoln Land Community College in Jacksonville. He attended Jerusalem United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church in Macomb.
Jackson loved music and played tuba in the Macomb High Bomber Marching Band. He enjoyed going to outdoor music festivals and concerts with his friends. He was an avid reader and enjoyed a wide variety of literature. He also kept up with current affairs and politics. Whenever he had the opportunity he would spend time outdoors. Jackson loved canoeing the Boundary Waters, biking in Wisconsin, hiking in Utah and fishing in the Gulf Waters. He enjoyed traveling to these places with his family. His most special times were those spent with his Heather.
Family will greet friends for a time of visitation and fellowship at 5 p.m. throughout the evening on Friday at the Harn residence. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville. Pastor Wally Holt will officiate. Memorials contributions may be made to the Macomb High Marching Band or the Macomb Area Leisure Foundation/Lakeview. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
