BUSHNELL - Jesse A. Darst, 97, Bushnell, died Sunday at 7 p.m. at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.
He was born Jan. 21, 1875, at Smithfield. He married the former Sarah Ann Havens on Dec. 23, 1896. She died March 17, 1956.
He was a retired farmer and moved to Bushnell in 1945.
Mr. Darst is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Crete McDonald, Bushnell; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nora Henderliter, Canton.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home, Bushnell. Rev. James Weiss, pastor of Bushnell United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Bushnell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Tuesday until the hour of the service
