A funeral for Clara Ruth Katterman Haskell of Southwest Portland will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Cedar Mill Bible Church. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery of Cedar Mill.
Mrs. Haskell died Monday in a Portland care center of causes related to age. She was 87.
She was born Aug. 26, 1904, in Portland and was a graduate of the original Cedar Mill Grade School. Her maiden name was Katterman. She and her husband, Elvin Haskell, had owned and operated dairy farms on Sauvie Island and on McDaniel Road in Portland for many years. She was an early member of the Cedar Mill Bible Church.
Mrs. Haskell is survived by six nieces. Her husband died earlier.
