Mr. John Michael "Johnny" Bailey, 43, died suddenly Tuesday evening (Mar. 16, 2004) in Lake Placid, FL from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He is a native of Brunswick, but he has lived the past year and a half in Hoboken. He previously lived in Waycross, Blackshear and Brunswick. He was a truck driver for Satilla Transport.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Lane Bailey of Hoboken; two children, Devin and Kristin Hickox both of Hoboken; his father, James Timothy Bailey (wife Jackie) of Jacksonville, FL; his mother, Joanne Sylvia Marshall (husband Richard) of Brunswick; three brothers, James Vincent Bailey (wife Debbie) of St. Simon's, GA, William Randall Bailey of Brunswick, GA, and Russell Otis Bailey (wife Sherry) of Ludowici, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday (Mar. 20, 2004) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
