Margaret A. O'Brien was the daughter of Patrick William O'Brien and Sarah Breen O'Brien. She worked in a silk mill and was a dressmaker. Her obituary appeared in the Holyoke Daily Transcript: Miss Margaret A. O'Brien of 295 Linden street, died this afternoon at the Providence Hospital, after a short illness. Miss O'Brien had been a resident of this city for 40 years. She leaves one brother, Dr. John T. O'Brien of San Francisco, Cal., and three nieces in Philadelphia. The funeral will be held at the home Thursday morning followed by a high mass of requiem in the Holy Cross Church. The body will be taken by automobile cortege in charge of Dillon Bros., to Greenfield where burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
