He was born in Franklin County, the son of Edmond Rowan Anders and Jemima Viola Davis Anders.
He was retired from the Mississippi Highway Department, and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Keller Anders; three step-sons, Audrey Rogers of Jackson, Douglas Rogers and Oscar Rogers, both of Natchez; one step daughter, Ella Grace O'Quinn of Natchez; two sisters, Mary Gray of Natchez and Eunice Catoire of Prairieville, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Patrick Anders, Sr., L.A. Davis, Steve Hill, Oscar Rogers, Mark Bryant, and Jeff O'Quinn.
