Clayton Sweet Also Seriously Burned and in Elyria Hospital as Result of Explosion on Saturday Evening

George Copas, died Saturday at Memorial hospital from injuries sustained Saturday evening when a lighted match resulted in the expolsion of the gasoline tank of his auto.
Copas had stopped at Hadoway filling station on West Broad Street. Someone lit a match to light a smoke and it communicated with the gasoline.
In addition to the death, Clayton Sweet, who was in the auto with Copas, is in Memorial Hospital, badly burned.
Copas was driving an anbulance for Carl W. Taylor and was making trips to Lorain, bringing back to Elyria Memorial Hosptial injuried from Lorain's tornado castastrophe.
Copas is 20 Years of age and resides at 318 Twelth.
Clayton Sweet lives at 135 Oak Street.
Funeral services will be held from the late home at two o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, in charge Rev. Walker, with burial in Ridgelawn cemetery.
