Duran, Antonio C. (Tony) 68. Lifelong resident of El Rancho, died at St. Vincent Hospital on Friday, October 17th following a short Illness. Mr. Duran was the owner and operator of the Duran Construction Co. for the past 36 years, specializing in the Lathe and Palstering and Dry Wall Business. He was born on July 18, 1918 to Benito and Librada Duran in San Ildefonso, NM. Survived by his wife, Maria Erlinda; sons; Gilbert and wife Pauline, Miguel and wife Mary, Anthony and wife Donna, Walter and wife Pilar, daughters; Evelyn Lujan and husband Pete, Bernadette Vasques and husband Eugene, Sylvia Neely and husband Peter, aAnna Marie Elliott and husband Alen, and Mary Eesther Median and husband Walter; sisters; Ruby Garcia and husband John and Tresa C de Baca and husb and Guillermo; sister-in-lwa; Lina Duran; 23 grandchildren, 2 great garndchildren, anm many other relatives, Mr. Duran will lie in state at Berardinelli Mortuary from 2:00 p.m. today, where Rosary will be recited this evening at 7;30 p.m. On Sunday, Mr. Duran will be taken to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque at a time to be announced in Sunday's edition of the New Mexican, where Parish Rosary will be recited at 7;00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burail will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 20th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque with Fr. Erneric Nordmeyer, O.F. M. as celebrant of the Mass. Burial will follow Mass in El Rancho Cemetery. The family requests memorail contributions in Mr. Duran's name to the American Heart Association, Santa Fe Chapter, 535 Cordova Rd., Suite 410, Santa Fe, NM 87501 in liew of flowers. Arrangements are through Berardinelli Mortuary, 1399 Luisa St., 983-4331
