The untimely death of Mrs. Ida L. Hagood, nee Young, will bring sorrow to many hearts throughout Lawrence County. She died recently near Concord, leaving many dear ones to emulate her Christian Example. She was a young married woman.

Ida L. Hagood, wife of James F. Hagood, and daughter of W.H. and Caroline Young, was born April 18th, 1859, united with the Baptist Church at Town Creek in 1872, was married December 15th, 1880 - aged 22 years, 10 months and 27 days. By her request her funeral was preached at the grave, by J.R. NeSmith, to a very large and attentive audience.
