DILLSBURG Jacob S. Tennis, 78, of 51 Aspen Road died Monday in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired farmer, a former employee of Mechanicsburg Milling Co. and a member of Wolgamuth Church of the Brethren and Dillsburg Area Golden Age Club.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel E. Hertzler Tennis; three sons, Nelson R. and Donald L., both of Dillsburg, and Larry G. of Halifax; four daughters, Miriam E. Mock of Dillsburg, Elva M. Biggs of Etters, Anna M. Ritchie of Duncannon and Carol A. Gochenour of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Mary Beam of Annville; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Gingrich Mennonite Church, Annville. Burial will be in Gingrich Church Cemetery, Annville.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Cocklin Funeral Home, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the church.
