Mattie Richbough Sports, 91, of Charleston Heights, died Saturday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at noon Monday in Stuhr's North Area Chapel. Burial will be at 2:30 pm in Mount Hope Cemetery in Greeleyville.
Mrs. Sports was born in Clarendon County, a daughter of John William Richbough and Leilah Holly Barnes Richbough. She was a member of Wando Woods Baptist Church and was the widow of John William Sports.
Surviving are three daughters, Leila S. Manthei of Charleston Heights, Juanita S. Hogarth of Charleston, and Martha S. Duerr of Fort Mill; a son, Sam Sports of North Charleston; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
