Teresa Lynn Duncan, age 41 of Dublin passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem.
Born October 30, 1967 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of George Anderson Duncan, Jr. and Lillian "Tena" Freeman Duncan.
Her grandparents, Ernest Carl Freeman, George A. Duncan and Margaret Snavley Duncan also preceded her in death.
Surviving are: her companion of 20 years, Rick Thompson, Dublin; son, Shawn Anderson Duncan, Dublin; parents, George Anderson Duncan, Jr. and Lillian "Tena" Freeman Duncan, Dublin; grandchildren, Autumn Thornton and Hayden Thompson, Radford; step-daughter, Amy Nicole Thompson, Radford; grandmother, Helen Freeman, Pulaski; companion's mother, Wilma Ballou, Damascus; companion's brother, Tony Doss, Damascus; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dublin Church of God of Prophecy with the Pastor George Freeman and Minister Ricky Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
