RALEIGH – Dixie Barber Cahall, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Wake County, October 7, 1927 and lived in Wake County all her life.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert M. Cahall Jr.; children, Robert M. Cahall III of Wendell, Dixie Catherine Cahall and Mark Alan Cahall, both of Raleigh; grandchildren, Robert M. Cahall IV of Carrboro, Jessica Marie Cahall of Greenville; sisters, Betty Ferrell of Raleigh, and Robbie McSwain of Seven Springs.
Visitation will be at the residence, 2335 Lyon St., Raleigh, Sunday August 1, 1999 from 1-5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 400 Oberlin Rd., Suite 208, Raleigh, NC 27605.
