Odelia M. Coverdale

Odelia M. Coverdale, 92, of Amherst died Saturday at Lorain Community Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Elyria Township, she lived most of her life in Amherst. Mrs. Coverdale worked several
years as a seamstress and was employed at U.S. Automatic during World War II.

She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Amherst.

Survivors include sons, Claire H. of Pittsburgh and Robert of Belleville, Ill.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Coverdale was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, in 1965; two sisters and
three brothers.

Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Garland-Misencik Funeral Home,
851 Park Ave., Amherst, where the Rev. E. William Mathews will conduct 11 a.m. services
Tuesday.

Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
Memorials may be made to the church.
