Last Rites For Mrs. Schmidt To Be On Thursday
New Holstein—Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Schmidt, 80, who died Monday morning at her home here, will be held at the Erbe- Hoffmann funeral home here, the Rev. A. G. Schmid officiating. Burial will be made in the New Holstein City cemetery.
Mrs. Schmidt, nee Emmy Arps, was born Nov. 23, 1863, in New Holstein, the daughter of John and Amalia Arps. She was married to Henry Schmidt on Oct. 23, 1885, in New Holstein, and they resided on a farm in town New Holstein until 1910 when they moved to the city to make their home. Her husband died in November, 1933.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Olga) Blumberg of New Holstein; two sons, Arno of Appleton and Allan of Kiel; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of the New Holstein German Reading Circle.
