Today we lost our father, brother, grandfather, friend, and confidant to cancer.

In the chaos of our household he was the quiet at the center of the storm, the anchor of our family, the safe harbor at which we always came. We will miss him dearly.

Quin T. Robins was born September 27, 1924 in Scipio, Utah to Clark and Olive Robins. Married Teddy Jean Larsen, later divorced. Served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in World War II. Retired from Kennecott Copper. His hobby was refurbishing old coal stoves and he was known as the only stove man west of the Mississippi. Active member of the VFW.

Survived by daughters, Marcia MaComb (Charles); Christine Richards (Jerry); sons, Tim, Ben, and James Robins; brothers, Clead and Clint; sister, Janice Quarnberg (Dave); preceded in death by parents and three brothers.

Funeral services Tuesday, Novmeber 12, 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Corp. 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108 Attn. Whitsett.
