William L. "Billy" Matteson, 43, of Noble Street died Tuesday evening at Samaritan Medical Center after being stricken at home.
Born February 10, 1966 in Watertown, son of William F. and Ann Hall Matteson, he was educated in the local schools. Following school he worked for the Curtis family in building construction and for the last 20 years has worked for Curtis Furniture on Rt. 342 as a journeyman cabinet maker.
Surviving besides his parents of Evans Mill, are 3 sisters and 2 brothers- in-law, Julie and Dale LaClair of Theresa, Ann Marie Matteson of Evans Mills, and Heidi and Howard O'Brien of Evans Mills; 4 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Forrest and Sherry ,Donald and Trude ,Shane, and Justin, all of Evans Mills, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
There will be no public calling hours or funeral. Private services with burial will be in Evans Mills Cemetery.
