From the Advance Hustler, May 18, 1911: On Saturday Mrs. Theodore D. Hankins was in her usual health. She attended an ice cream supper Saturday evening and ptomaine poisoning followed. On Monday night at half past nine she died as a result of the poisoning. Mrs. Hankins was forty-seven years of age and before her marriage was Miss Rose Morrison. Besides her husband she leaves two children, Hazel, aged 16, and Everett, aged 8. Another son, Herald, died only last summer at the age of seventeen. She has two brothers, Jessie Morrison of New Ross and James Morrison of Lebanon.
