Winafred Catherine Jordan (nee Meyers), age 100, of Camden Township, died Thursday evening at her home. She was born on September 8, 1909 in Cleveland and has lived in Camden Township for over 70 years. She worked as a custodian at Oberlin College and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Oberlin. She enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Jean (Leroy) Hollingsworth, of Camden Twp., a son Keith L. (Ladrien) Jordan, of Elyria, a daughter-in-law Eleanor Jordan, of Birmingham, a brother Clifford Meyers, of Sandusky, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert Meyers and Catharine Conroy, her husband Kenneth R. Jordan Sr., a son Kenneth Jr., brothers Russell, Elwood, and William, and a sister Eleanor.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
