Taunton-Mary R. (Thomas) Cole, ahomemaker and fomer inspector for Reed & Barton Co., died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1996 at Morton Hospital and Medical Center at the age of 77. She was the wife of Roland E. Cole. Mrs. Cole moved from Taunton to Easton with her husband and son, Roland S. Cole, 1 1/2 months ago. She had lived in Taunton for more than 70 years. Mrs. Cole attended Taunton schools and graduated from the former St. Mary's High School.She also attended St. Mary's Church. She retired fromm Reed & Barton in 1961 after working there for 19 years. Mrs Cole born in New Bedford to the late Fodul and Ann (Yazback) Thomas. She was a member of the Lebanese Women's American Veterans Auxiliary of New Bedford. Iddition to her husband and son, Mrs. Cole Leaves two sisters, Theresa Zatir of New Bedford and Beatrice Thomas of Taunton: and a brother Anthony Thomas of Taunton. A funeral will be held from the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home Friday at 10 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
