Funeral services for Patricia Adams, age 69, of Riverview Towers, Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Church will Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 at Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams passed away this morning (Thursday, September 25, 2008) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
Mrs. Adams is survived by two daughters, Patricia St. Germain and her husband, Arnold, and Michelle Adams, both of Iowa; two sisters, Jane Bjork and Audrey Gagnon, both of Ogdensburg; four grandchildren, Marceline St. Germain-Anderson, Patrick Miller, Joshua Hegwood, and Samantha Hegwood; and one great grandchild, Makayla Hardie. She is predeceased by three sisters, Joyce Adams, Dorothy Paro, and Elaine Edwards; one son, John Hadley, in 1960; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Adams.
She was born March 17, 1939 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of John and Marcelline Denno. She attended local schools. She worked at Hepburn Medical Center in the Laundry Department. She also cleaned various homes and businesses in Ogdensburg. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to garage sales.
