BARBER
Madeline Hanson Barber, 83, a native of Spencer, Neb., a former resident of Escalon, Calif. and resident of Magnolia Springs, died Oct. 2, 1996, in a local hospital. She was a member of Escalon United Methodist Church and was very active in the United Methodist Women and Farm bureau Women.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Barbar of Magnolia Springs; one daughter, Leilani Vaughn of Manteca, Calif., two sisters, Frances Bouma of Turlock, Calif. and Violet Nyberg of Osceola, Neb.; four grandchildren, Melissa Vaughn, Darlene Vaughn, Amy Lawrence and Dawn Folmar; and one great-grandchild, Willa Folmar.
A memorial service will be held in Escalon at a later date.
