Former Choctaw Woman Dies In Oklahoma City
Mrs. Addie (Taylor) McCollum, 73, a former resident of Choctaw many years, where she conducted a mercantile business, died last Friday at her home in Oklahoma City. Her death was attributed to heart failure. Services were held Sunday at the Capitol Hill funeral home. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery near Jones. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Oxford, Miss. She moved to Choctaw in 1900 and lived there until four years ago. She was a member of the church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, William H. McCollum, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Knight, of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Ruben Jay, Stillwater; three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
