Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson funeral home in Ottumwa for George A. Loy, 84, former Waterloo resident who died Monday night in a La Porte City nursing home.
Mr. Loy married Nellie Maude Black in 1904 at Eldon, and the couple came here in 1926.
Survivors include one son, Milfred, Rt. 3, Cedar Falls, and four daughters, Mrs. Merrill Mountain, Rt. 4, Mrs. James Walters, 3065 Easton Ave., Mrs. James McNeal, La Porte City, and Mrs. Carleton Rolison, Eddyville; 21 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
