"Mrs. W. C. Sporleder-
The many friends of Mrs. W. C. Sporleder are indeed sorry to learn of her death, which occurred at the Sporleder home nine miles south of Beloit at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday forenoon, March 3, 1936. Pneumonia was given as the cause of death.
Mrs. Sporleder's maiden name was Anna Rohde. She was born Feb. 22, 1879 on an ocean ship while her parents were enroute to this country to locate. The family located the same year in Kansas and she grew to womanhood here. She was married to William C. Sporleder, and they have since made their home in this community.
Left to mourn her death are the devoted husband and these children: Orville S., Harry, Mrs. Eunice Plymire, Mrs. Irene Grittman, Mrs. Louise Plymire, Richard S., and Ralph S., all of this community. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. C. D. Rohde, and two sisters, Misses Della Rohde and Alvena Rohde. She was a member of the Lutheran church of Beloit.
The funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at Pleasant View Chapel with Rev. R. R. Kaiser of McPherson, formerly of Beloit, in charge. Burial was in Pleasant View cemetery."
