Sabrina Short Hill Hoyle, was born in Herkimer County, New York, moving to Madison County,New York with her parents.
She married Ira Hill, becoming his third wife, at the age of 30. They lived first in Sweden, New York, for three years, then Indiana, and finally came to Camden, Ohio, where she lived the rest of her life.
She and Ira had four children: Ira G., Albert, Lucy and Sarah.
After Ira died in 1850, she married again to Samuel C. Hoyle.
