Daughter of William Mackey and Emily Thursa Ann Watkins.
First wife of Henry Gilbert Terrell, married February 15, 1858 in Jellico, Campbell County Tennessee.
Mother of 13 children, Susan Francis Hubbs, Alzy Jane, John Solomon, William Frank, Sarah Emma Floyd, Robert Ranson, Stephen Henry, Peter, Dosia Ellen Mckeehan, Ida May Terrell Barton Jesson Crites, Halie Dina, Cager A and Tilden Terrell.

Julia died of the Bloody flux (Dysentery (formerly known as flux or the bloody flux is an inflammatory disorder of the intestine, especially of the colon, that results in severe diarrhea).

There are four (4) more graves marked with fieldstones beside Alzy Jane at the Mackey Cemetery. Three children listed below died at the same time as their mother with the bloody flux: William Frank, Halie Dina and Tildon Terrell

The forth grave may be an unlisted child born in the period between the birth of Susan Francis in 1861 and Alzy Jane in 1866. If so child probably died as a baby.
