Mrs. Amy R. Hill, 74, mother of Clair L. Hill, president of the Ohio Fair Managers and scretary-treasurer of the Lorain County Fair, passed away last night at 8:15 at the Elyria Memorial Hospital. She had received operative treatment five days ago.

Her Husband, Charles, died 25 years ago. Up until approximately four years ago Mrs. HIll had taught school in Florida and Oregon. When Mr. Hill was alive the coulple operated the West End Grocery.

Mrs. HIll was an active member of the Wellington First Methodist church and the Hamlin Women's Relief Corps. She was treasurer of the Wellington Grange until a s hort time ago when ill health forced her to curtail many of her activities.

Surviving her besides her son, Clair, are a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Wells of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; four granddaughters and one grandson. ALso surviving are a sister, Mrs. Etta BIehl of Mentamora and several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Curtis E. Truman Funeral Home where friends may call after Wednesday evening and until time for services there at 3 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Paul Brown, pastor of the Methodist church will officiate.

Burial will be made in Camden Cemetery.
