Harry's father, George, is one of my 2nd-great-granduncles.
Harry was the youngest of 12 children born to George W Cook and Elizabeth 'Eliza' J Bird.
I concede that Harry's headstone indicates YOB as 1872 and his Obit stated he was 77 yrs old at his death; however, other historical records align with YOB as 1875.
The Cook Family's 1880 US Census reports Harry as 4 yrs old. His age reported in the 1900 - 1940 US Censuses all align with the 1875 YOB as well.
Most notably though, his WWI Draft Registration Card (12 Sep 1918), which he signed, reports his full DOB as 2 Oct 1875 and his Draft Age as 42 yrs old. He reported Alice as his next of kin/wife.
Harry and Alice were married 11 Oct 1905 in Ohio, USA
