Roberts Services Scheduled Tuesday
Funeral services for George Roberts, 55, who died Friday in Washington, D.C., will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 at the Austinville Methodist church. Mr. Roberts, a former resident of Austinville, has worked in the Navy yards near Washington as a machinist for the past six years.
The body arrived this afternoon at two o'clock and was taken to the home in Austinville.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Z. R. Carpenter and Rev. F. M. Weston and interment will be made at Roselawn, Brown directing.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. C. M. Clem and Miss Billie Roberts of Roswell, N. M. and Mrs. R. D. Clark, Austinville; two sons, Luther Roberts, Washington and Justin Roberts of Austinville.
