Mary Louise Van Loon died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Las Fuentes Care Center, Prescott, Ariz. Born Aug. 4, 1915, in Chesterton, Ind., Mary was the youngest of nine children born to John and Elizabeth (Rosenberg) Weisemann. On April 15, 1939 she married Harry Foster Van Loon who predeceased her on Feb. 21, 1993.
Mary is survived by one daughter; Judith Wilson, of Prescott; two sons, Rudolph (Michelle) Van Loon, of Wilmette, Ill., and Richard (Gayle) Van Loon, of Chesterton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Corey (Renae) Van Loon, of Chesterton, Ind., Scott (Abby) Van Loon, of Wheatfield, Ind., Kristin Van Loon, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Casey Hanbury, of Chicago, Ill.; and two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Austin Van Loon, of Wheatfield, Ind.
Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, Tuesday, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in loving memory of Mary be made to Hospice of the Pines, 13175 E. Hwy. 169, Dewey, AZ 86327.
Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Ariz. assisted the family with arrangements.
