John Konwinski, Posen Pioneer, Dies
John Konwinski, age 78 years, died at eight o'clock Monday evening at his home on U.S. 33 south of Posen. His death was due to infirmities of age.
Surviving Mr. Konwinski are his widow, Mrs. Rose Konwinski, Posen; and five children, Stanley Konwinski,Posen; George Konwinski, Mrs Mary Jarmuzwski and and Mrs. Joseph Klimaszwski of Alpena and Mrs Agnes Wize of Detroit: ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren: and two sisters, Mrs Anna Todsywski of Alpena and Mrs. Anthony Molki of Rogers City.
Mr. Konwinski is well known in Presque Isle and Alpena counties, Having been a resident of Presque Isle the past 55 years, where he was engaged in farming.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St Casimir's church with interment in the church cemetery.
