Mrs. Oma A. Cates, 312 S. Penn St., died October 12 at Pinal General Hospital in Florence.
Born Nov. 18, 1894 in Arkansas, Mrs. Cates had lived in Eloy for the past 27 years.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie, and a daughter, Katherine Anderson, both of Eloy; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, October 15 at the Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Eloy Memorial Park. Rev. C.R. McDonald officiated.
