MRS. JEREMIAH MILLER
Mrs. Jeremiah Miller of English township, died at her home last Saturday morning, November 24, 1900, after a lingering illness. For several months she had suffered intensely with a tumor and although she knew that her life was slowly ebbing away she faced death heroically.
The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon and were attended by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mrs. Miller was seventy years of age and for thirty years had resided in this county. She was a refined and educated lady, quiet and unassuming in her manner, of a peculiarly sunny disposition, and possessed to an unusual degree those lovable womanly qualities that are always so much admired.
Her amiable disposition, her kind and generous nature, her cordial and pleasant manners made friends for her of all with whom she came in contact, and in her death all feel that a loss has been sustained for which there is no compensation.
