Mark B. Dewey
Mark B. Dewey, aged 78, former resident of Milford, died July 7 in Albany Hospital after a long illness.
He was born January 24, 1883, in Sidney Center, the son of Harper and Etta (Wattles) Dewey. He married Marcia Nellis, September 10, 1910. She died August 4, 1956. Mr. Dewey wasa retired salesman for a toy manufacturing company.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. E.J. Butler of Rochester; a son, Byron of Delmar; one sister, Mrs. Elvira Smith of Kirkwood; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday from the Tillapaugh Funearl Home in Milford, with the Rev. William A. Highfield of the Cooperstown Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Westville Cemetery.
