SULLIVAN - Kathy Lynn Denton, 42, of Sullivan died 9:37 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 7, 2003) in her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be two hours before services. Memorials: Kathy Lynn Denton Memorial Fund in care of First Mid-Illinois Bank.
Kathy was born Dec. 26, 1960, in Decatur, the daughter of William George and Frances Bernice Hostettler Conlin. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church of God, Sullivan. Kathy graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Illinois University in speech communication. She was employed by Eastern Illinois University in the music department.
Surviving are her sons, Matthew Eugene Denton and Cole William Denton, both of Sullivan; grandson, Braxton Giorgi; brothers, Kim Conlin and wife Rosemary of Yankton, S.D.; Mark Steven Conlin and wife Ann of Sullivan; nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Sierra and Stephen Conlin; Matthew, Patrick and Rebecca Glidden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Jeanie Denton of Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Shawn William Conlin.
