Two of Johnson County's earliest settlers, Stephen Cook of near Lenexa and Mrs. W. H. Pennington or Olathe, died recently. Mr.Cook was 78 years old and was born in Indiana. Mrs. Pennington, who was 76, was born in County Clare, Ireland.
