Funeral services for Heather Raine Roark, 17, of Fort Polk, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at the Main Post Chapel at Fort Polk, Chaplain David L. Walter officiated. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Miss Roark died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, in Leesville. Survivors include her parents, Greg and Donna Roark of Fort Polk; two brothers, Tyler C. Roark and Joshua A. Roark, both of Fort Polk; her grandparents, Herman and Betty Roark of Comfort, Texas, Clara S. Roark of Trinity, Texas, Allen and Kathryn Batten of Camp Douglas, Wisc., and Bessie Batten of Camp Douglas, Wisc.
